The wear-resistant clad steel plate should obtain the following types of microstructure through alloy control and heat treatment: the structure of lath martensite + retained austenite between laths, which can be obtained by quenching + low temperature tempering. Due to the high strength properties of wear-resistant clad steel, it can be used to manufacture lightweight products that are both aesthetically pleasing and energy efficient. Innovative, environmentally friendly, high-quality products can be developed using wear-resistant composite steel plates. Steel is easy to weld and cut with ideal formability. Safe work regulations must be observed when working in the workshop.

Crusher Wear Plate material

The maximum thickness for cold forming of 300/400/450 steel is 20mm. The minimum molding temperature is not lower than +20°C, and the highest is not lower than +200°C. Due to the high hardness of wear-resistant clad steel, the required bending force, rebound force and bending radius are higher than those of traditional structural steel. Recommended before cold forming on steel or 500 thick over 20mm. Preheating is always required when bending wear-resistant clad steel sheets thicker than 20mm. The recommended molding temperature is between 150-200°C. Preheating improves the deformation of wear-resistant clad steel sheets and ensures successful bending. Forming should use well-performing techniques and tools. Worn tools, insufficient lubrication, imperfections in the surface of the steel sheet and burrs on the cut edges will affect the quality of the forming. It is recommended to use the maximum allowable bend radius.
