The high temperature and pressure generated during high-speed operation will cause wear on the eccentric bushing and tapered bushing, so the material selection of the eccentric bushing needs to be extremely strict, and the specific characteristics need to meet the following aspects:

1. The compressive strength and hardness of the material should be high, so as to ensure the wear resistance and compression resistance of the customized eccentric bushing;
2. The elongation of the material must be large and the toughness is good to ensure the impact resistance of the eccentric bushing;
3. The friction coefficient of the material needs to be small and the self-lubricating property is strong, so that the frictional resistance generated by the eccentric bushing during operation is small, so as to generate less heat, and the temperature will not be too high, causing the phenomenon of burning bushing.
4. The linear expansion coefficient of the material should also be small, so that the eccentric bushing will not cause the phenomenon of wrapping due to the reduction of the lubrication gap between the bushings due to high temperature.
To sum up the characteristics of the above material requirements, we generally choose bronze alloys with good wear resistance and compression performance in the selection of eccentric bushing materials, mainly tin bronze, high lead bronze and so on. In addition to such requirements on material selection, daily maintenance and maintenance of the eccentric bushing of the cone crusher is also very important, otherwise the eccentric bushing will easily fail.
